INTEREST IN INNOVATIVE ANIMAL PROGRAM GROWS! Centers for Animal Therapies/CAT Celebrates One Year Anniversary
Longwood,
Fl - Centers for Animal Therapies/C.A.T., LLC, the innovative program
that offers a dual approach to classes on animal topics celebrates
their one year anniversary with the announcement of 30 classes, 10
locations, and 15 instructors!
The program, CAT, takes a unique
double approach to learning, using both intuitive and fact based
systems, one part focuses on developing our natural intuition, while
the other uses fact based knowldge, and puts them together into a
seamless combination to understand animals, from both "the gut-level"
and from the intellect.
"With the onset of the spring
curriculum, CAT has prepared a solid program that is based on the
theory that both types of learning, factual and intuitive, are
necessary to have a more thorough understanding of communication and
relationships of animals with humans," says owner and founder Jo
Maldonado.
The Spring curriculum includes: classes on the
intuitive and natural, such as Reiki, Shamanic animal healing, animal
energy, animal communication, creativity and astrology and animals;
fact- based classes include canine behavior analysis and training,
veterinary medicine, nutrition, pet first aid, pet massage, tracking,
wildlife and nature, and even a series of exercise classes with your
dog. Class departments include canine, feline, avian and wildlife.
Instructors are mostly Florida based and are authors, speakers and
practitioners in their fields of expertise. This semester's special
guest is Carla Meeske, renowned Shamanic animal healer and author
coming from Glendale, Arizona.
The program offers a free class
and DVD, "Rescue for the Rescue" to any animal rescue group, or
shelter, which highlights the main points of properly handling incoming
rescued animals by volunteers or staff members. CAT students and
instructors typically visit animal non-profit organizations and offer
their skills free of charge. Recent visits include Freedom Ride, Wild
Horse Rescue & Panther Ridge.
Classes offered by Centers for
Animal Therapies/C.A.T. LLC., are open to the public to anyone who is
interested. All modalities offered may be applied to ALL animals,
