The Grasshopper is always learning.
We are beginning a circle for the purpose of creating a community for individuals who are interested in learning about topics of indigenous nature: history, current events, healing, philosophy, practice and spirituality, to mention a few.  We look forward to sharing experiences and teachings in a space that is open and fun as well as safe and respectful, to both the participants and the teachings.
There is no charge for participation, however there will be a donation jar available at the door. All are welcome to attend. Bring drums, rattles, pens and journals, but above all bring an open heart.  We hope to see you there.
This Group is being facilitated by Nanu Pagan. Registration Necessary Click HERE

C.A.T. Advisor: Indigenous Practices
Nanu Pagan

Anita "Nanu" Pagan is a Taino woman hailing from the southern part of the Caribbean island of Boriken, presently known as Puerto Rico.

Nanu has always had a spiritual outlook on life which she credits to her mother's loving guidance and spiritual persistence.  Nanu's own spritual quest started when she was a child and noticed she had a different perspective on life than those around her.  Yet, instead of assimilating to the greater worldview, she imitated her mother and began walking the path of the seeker.  She sought the kind of spiritual relationship that would satisfy her fully: mind, heart and soul. Twenty years ago she found her truth in the ways of her ancestors, the Taino.

Keeping true to her commitment to be of service, Nanu is certified, not only as a Home  Health Aide, which allows her to serve the elders of the community, but also as a Life Coach via Rhema International.  She combines all her strengths and experiences as a medicine woman as well as her professional training, to assist anyone that approaches her for both spiritual and non-spiritual help.
