Animals & Reiki

We have had many students go through our program, as well as others who have been certified in Reiki and practice it as a adjunct to healing for animals. It is one of the most harmless, and gratifying things to watch using these techniques with animals, our true mirrors. Gently applying Reiki, calms, and balances their meridians, their systems and shows a profound validation of relaxation and calm. For more information on Reiki go to http://www.pet-health-advisor.com/reikiforanimals.html

We have found that different species of animals require different "strengths" of reiki. For example a ferrel cat will not tolerate Reiki as well as a dog. Birds are much more sensitive. A full reiki circle can easilyl "blast" a bird. Horses show immediate responses of reiki. For more information on the use of this energy modality for animals contact us.

To the left you see one of our students applying Reiki to a horse that had taken ill with stomach issues. He is the stallion of his herd. He was led into an open barn stall and we began to apply reiki. Within a few minutes, his mouth relaxed, he released a lot of air, and suddenly laid down with a huge sigh. He took a lot of energy in. Then just as quickly he got up and walked out into the pasture. He submerged himself in a nearby pond, stretched, and within two hours, was once again leading his herd in full glory.  And the others in the herd? They slowly began arriving from the pasture, one by one as though to get whatever he got, lining up in very polite order.
